This picture makes me laugh......we tried to get a christmas picture card but none turned out the way I wanted aka my sisters, greg, brother, brother in law weren't taking it seriously and were making jokes. And I might be a little self concious with this baby weight. But I think this picture is funny. :)

We had a great Thanksgiving at my Dad and Carlene's! We ate a great Thanksgiving lunch and then watched Christmas Vacation followed by the Texas A&M game. It was a great game. I actually stayed up till the end. Can you believe it??? and On Friday the boys went hunting and the girls went to my Mom and Rick's. We ate our fav...Tres Amigos...and then went to see Old Dogs. On Saturday, more movies and shopping. The Blind Side is a great, great movie. A plus was that traffic was not bad on the way home today. :) Here are some pictures from the long weekend. Oh I have been seeing an add for Gingerbread pancakes at IHOP.....this morning my sisters and Cooper went for breakfast and they were delicious!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!

This weekend was a productive/relaxing weekend! Greg and I had a much needed "date night" on Friday....we got dressed up and went to Mi Cocina in the Southlake Towne Center. It was delicious and very nice to spend some alone time with my hubby. He has been working so hard lately and i was out of town two weekends ago and he was out of town last weekend....so it was nice to be together. On Saturday, Greg worked in the morning so I did a little Christmas shopping and then Max, Amanda, and Maddie came over for a couple hours to visit. Being around Maddie made Greg and I very anxious for Rory to arrive. :) Greg also started priming Rory's Room.....i believe he will finish painting the room this week. :) This morning, I went to see New Moon with some co-workers...and this afternoon Greg and I have been putting up our Christmas decorations/painting/watching the Cowboys. We head to Georgetown on Wednesday evening for Thanksgiving with my Dad and Carlene. Then a of weekend shopping/movies with my Mom and Rick. I am very excited! I haven't seen my dad since august and my brother since June. :( The last time they saw me i was a stick....now I have a huge watermelon under my shirt. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! Also, my sugar test came back normal. So I can continue on with my sweet tooth with no worries.....just kidding I really am trying to cut back. :)

Funny story....I am a clumsy pregnant lady. I was already clumsy before, but it has gotten worse. On Saturday I was shopping at Belk and knocked over 3 yankee candles shattering them. FYI....the employees at the Belk at the Alliance Town Center are so nice. Then I went to Freebirds....big mistake on there grand opening weekend. The line was out the door....but i was determined to get my hard working husband his favorite lunch. (eventhough his ingredient list was a mile long) The guy named my burrito 1 and greg's burrito 2. I was reading from the list and as we were going down the insane hectic line.....he kept shouting burrito 1 or burrito 2??? I got totally confused on whose burrito was what.....by the time I left I was cursing freebirds and there crazy way of custom ordering. :)

We are making progress on Rory's room......i have started to feel a bit overwhelmed lately. There is so much to do, but Baby Rory is coming whether we are ready or not. This weekend, Greg was at a bachelor party, but as soon as he walked in the door....did i let him sit down and watch the cowboys like a good wife.....no I was a crazy hormonal wife who made him switch out the guest bedroom furniture that is in Rory's room to the other guest room. And like a good husband (who doesn't want his wife to breakdown in tears that won't stop) he obliged. I had a good case of the water works all day sunday....even crying over the Khloe Kardashian wedding. pathetic I know....it's the baby. Thank you to my Mom and Rick, and Jerry and Vickie.....an early baby shower gift is on the way....Rory's bedroom set. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Above are a few pictures of the newly guest bedroom and Rory's furniture that is on the way. :)

I also had a doctor's appointment on Monday.....i didn't know whether to get the Swine Flu shot. I have been reading and hearing too much. But after listening to my pops and Dr. Vaughan I agreed to have it. The nurse said I tensed up right as she put the needle in....and boy did i feel it. Then I took the sugar test to check for diabetes. You have to drink this stuff that at first taste like kool-aid but towards the end just taste like thick cough syrup. Then I sat around the doctor's office for an hour and had my blood drawn. I did however eat two cookies about 2 hours before the test so my results could be off. :) My sweet tooth has gotten out of control lately and I have promised myself no sweets till thanksgiving. 7 days..... I think I can do it!!!

Doctor's Visit....no more High Risk :)

Greg and I had our 2nd visit with Dr. Payne (perinatal high risk doctor) yesterday. He said everything looks wonderful and that I only need to go to him one more time next month and then I can just stick with my ob, Dr. Vaughan. :) So no more high risk for me and Baby Rory. :)

Her head is already down to the pubic bone.....which is good because once she gets big enough she won't be able to move around as much and we don't want her coming out feet first. However, there is a lot of pressure down there making it uncomfortable and sometimes painful. She weights 1.5 lbs and we got to see her eat....it was so cute!!!!

Greg and I ate yummy Christina's Mexican Food after the appointment. :) I did miss that margarita i usually have......:)

The Bride and Groom

Brit, me, Amanda, and Marissa

This weekend I drove down to Georgetown again because I was a one of the hostess for my dear friend, Britni's, wedding shower. I was still recovering from my two week illness with the flu and then a sinus infection followed.....so I hate to admit this but I went to bed at 6:30pm on Saturday night. An all time early bed time even for me. We went to Joe's Crab Shack for lunch on Saturday for my sister, Merezie's birthday. HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY Merezie! Then we did a little bit of shopping and then Reagan and I went back to her house to watch TV. We were both in bed at 6:30pm....however I went to bed immediately and she watched a couple of movies. (Thank you for not judging me Leaganater) Needless to say I was up at 5am ready to start the day. :)

Amanda, Shannon, and I held a wonderful shower at Annarella's for Britni and Brian. It was a great Sunday of girl talk and snacking. :) We have a doctor's appointment with the perinatal doctor tomorrow afternoon....just a monthly check up. :)

I am fairly large now and uncomfortable.......i wake up ever couple hours during the night and my biggest complaint so far is I am having teeth pain. It might be the sinus infection wearing off. But my teeth hurt hurt hurt. Hopefully, it is just leftover from the sinus infection and will be gone soon.

Happy Halloween!

Greg and I decided to drive to Austin for Halloween this year......since it was on a Saturday. It was supposed to be just me, but Greg switched shifts and was able to make it. YEAH!!! We haven't been to Austin since June I think for Lindsey and Aaron's wedding. So it was very nice. We drove down early Saturday and met the family at Tres Amigos. (my families favorite restaurant) Every Saturday or Sunday I call my family and they are always eating somewhere together. This makes me so sad because I miss being near them, so it was nice that Greg and I could be there. Afterwards, the boys went home to watch football and the girls went shopping at Barton Creek. My mom bought me a lot of new maternity clothes since I have been wearing the same 3 shirts every weekend. Thanks MOM!!! Then we came home and took a nap. That night Reagan, Fuller, Greg, and I took Cooper trick or treating. He was very hesitant at first to put on his costume, but with this uncle's pumping him up he put it on. Last year the same thing happened and he didn't want to put his costume on or go trick or treating. But after we took him to a few houses he was on a roll and having the time of this life. He would say, "Trick or Treaty." It was very cute. And when they opened their doors he just walked right on in. After about an hour we went back to the house and watched football, had pizza, and passed out candy. It was a great Halloween!

Greg or Emilio Estevez???? This morning we were watching Young Guns on TV. When Cooper said, "Hey Greg your on tv." Referring to Emilio Estevez. Everytime Emilio would win a fight cooper would say, "Good Job Greg." This went on throughout the movie. I guess he does look like him.....we were laughing so hard. It was so cute and we got a kick out of it.
