Pumpkin Bread

Was feeling domestic today and decided to make some yummy pumpkin bread!!! (Found the recipe in our Homeowners Assoc magazine) It was delicious!! The house smells so good!! Happy Fall!

Laying Low

Auntie Ray Ray has been asking for a blog entry and some pics...so here are a few from the last week!! We have been laying low and not doing much...went yesterday to doctor and Miss. Rylee seems to be very happy right where she is because nothing has changed. My actual due date is Friday...then they will give me one more week and will talk about inducing. I AM SOOO READY!! Rory has been pretty much running the roost around here...as you can see we never wear clothes around the house and when we go out...miss fashionista chooses her own wardrobe!! Yesterday was picture day at school...we drove to school naked (underwear only) and then I proceeded to change our little diva in the car into her "picture" day outfit. She was kicking and screaming...I successfully won. However, I looked up to find a lady sitting in her car across from us observing this whole mess. Who knows what she thought! The horn was honking from Rory's arching back...you can only imagine the scenario. I can't wait to see the PICS and hopefully that battle was worth fighting!! Love my little boo boo....she sure does keep me on my toes!! XOXO

Pumpkin Patch

Trying to lift the "BIG" pumpkin! "Too heavy!"

a little bounce house fun!

Which pumpkin to choose?

Found it!!!

I love my pumpkin!!!

LOOK!!

of course we had to play in the waterfalls! :)
Greg got off early today for our belated anniversary date (Rory is staying with Nana and Papa J tonight!) and we are headed to Brick's Pizza in Roanoke! Anyways...so we both picked Rory up from school and took her to the pumpkin patch. She loves PUMPKINS especially after watching Halloween Barney over and over for the last 2 months! She loved running down all the pumpkin aisles and playing in the waterfalls....I think Halloween could be her favorite holiday! Although...she is already singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town!"

Prayers for my Little Sister

My sister Reagan and her husband, Jason, having been going on a roller coaster ride trying to have a baby. She underwent her 3rd Hysteroscopy this morning to remove polyps that keep coming back. They removed 1 big polyp and two little ones. Thankfully there was no scar tissue so they will continue IVF this month! Please pray for Rory to be blessed with more healthy cousins...Reagan is an AMAZING Auntie to Rory and Cooper and she will make an amazing Mommy! May God Bless their family and keep Ray Ray healthy, positive, and at peace with what God has planned for their family. We love you Uncle Fo Fo and Auntie Ray Ray!

Tea Party with Mimi

I love having a tea party with my Mimi, Minnie Mouse, and Elmo!!
We had a great weekend!! My back was killing me last week...so I was so thankful Greg was off this weekend. I relaxed with my heating pad and even got to plant my booty on the couch and watch the entire Tech/OU football game. I fell asleep during the second half...and good thing...Ouch that was rough! We also met the Snyder's for lunch in Roanoke and went to the Roanoke Fire Station Open House to celebrate Fire Safety Week!! Rory loves fire trucks! Mimi also came down Sunday for the night and watched Rory so Greg and I could go to the movies/dinner! So thankful for that! With so much help from Greg and Mimi I feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the next two weeks!

The time is near....

Baby Rylee will be here in a couple of weeks and BOY can you sense a change is a coming!! Rory's tantrum's have increased...she seems to thinks it is funny to "pee" on the floor and smile, she wants to be held constantly, she wants to run around naked all the time, and she seems to know that mommy can't "clean" or catch her when she is doing something she isn't supposed too! We are trying to be as patient as possible and HOPE that she will get it all out of her system before Miss Rylee arrives. Daddy showed a great deal of patience on Saturday night when she refused to put her pull up on before bed. She kicked, screamed (a scream I have never heard before), arched her little back, went boneless, etc. She really made him work for it. As I observed this "meltdown" I asked him "Do you need help?" his response was "I got this." he remained calm and eventually got her pull up on and put her on his lap where she screamed/cried some more. He lovingly calmed her down and  Within 2 minutes this was the picture of victory! SHE WAS OUT LIKE A LIGHT! (picture above) My patience has been on a short thread lately so after seeing this unfold Daddy inspired me...love you Honey!

The mess that is our house!! I am having nightmares that my house will be a disaster when I go into labor...and I will be in excruciating pain and be mopping the floors before Jamie, Nana, and Mimi come over. Please forgive me if this is the case.

Jamie came over yesterday...and she made the comment "Everybody is needy in this house!" She said this after Toby kept crawling in her lap and licking her face over and over. Well...we ran out of dog food last night so after I dropped Rory off at school this morning I went to Wal-Mart to get dog food. Did I get dog food? No. I forgot...but I did get Fall Decor. lol. As soon as I entered the house here was Layla staring at me with two strings of drool hanging from her chin. I thought "I will just pick some up at 2pm...when I go get Rory" Layla wouldn't have that and followed me around for 30 minutes making "needy" sounds...so I went back to Walmart and purchased DOG FOOD and some extra TREATS for them to ease my guilt.

Needless to say...we are READY for Rylee to be here. So I can get back to being the best mommy I can be for Rory and Rylee! I have not been "myself" the last few weeks and the guilt is not fun....ready for our little family of four to be here so I can keep up with my little ones and take good care of my hubby.
