Lubbock Road Trip :)

My Dad and Carlene bought us a Hampton Inn Gift Card for our birthdays to use for our Nebraska Trip. We were unable to take that trip because Greg started his new job that week, so I suggested we take a family road trip to Lubbock. I haven't been back in 10 years! What a fun trip we had!

The girls did awesome on the trip! Rylee was happy as long as she had her pappy, blankie, Jessie, and SNACKS!!

First stop...SPANKYS for lunch!!

2nd Stop..Touring the Campus!!

Future Red Raiders?? I hope so!!
3rd Stop...my place of employment all 4 years of college...Good Ole South Plains Mall!
Sadly...The Disney Store is no more. It is now an Oakley Store. :(

Fun Times in the Mall!!

A little pool time at the Hotel...

My kind of Travel Buddies...ready to watch TV and get ready bed at 5pm!! :)

To break up the trip up on the way home we stopped at The Abilene Zoo! Such a cute zoo!! Loved feeding the giraffes!!

I will tell you these pics just melt our hearts...
Rory, "Come on Rylee! Let's hold hands!"
Rylee,"Okay Ro Ro!"

Feeding the giraffes was by far the girls favorite part!!

It was such a fun road trip! Just makes me so thankful for my family.
PS Just like all family vacations there comes a point where you are like..okay time to get home. This happened toward the end of the zoo trip....Rory running and fell and skinned her knees really bad. All the activity and excitement of the weekend caught up to her and she couldn't stop crying! She crashed as soon as we got in the car...which made for the last 2 hr stretch Easy as Pie. :) That is until Rylee dumped Cinnamon Toast Crunch all in her car seat and was screaming "Itchy! Itchy!" LOL!

Fun Times! :)

Well the virus Rylee had finally caught up with Miss Rory...this is how we spent all of last Monday! :( Poor Baby! Thankfully Rory's only lasted 24 hrs. :)

This week we stopped by JJ's Classroom! We took the girls to the gymnasium and they had a blast!

I am a SUB bunco member for Moma Taylor's group. Lucky me they have needed their SUB the last two months! I have so much fun with theses ladies! :)

It's BUNCO NIGHT! :)
Greg had to work this weekend so Jamie, the girls, and I went to deliver meals at the Senior Center. I have not done it as much since Rylee was born. But Rory had the best time and it was wonderful to see her sweet heart in action. We will definitely make it a regular thing... :)
We played at the park before heading inside. :)

I just love this...an older girl at the park was teaching Rory how to ride her bike. So sweet!

Saying a prayer before we depart....this picture is very fitting of our Rory Grace. :)

We met Jessica and Parker at the Sea Life Aquarium this morning...these are the only pics I was able to capture. Miss Rylee will no longer be content in the stroller (it was good while it lasted)....trying to keep up with two girls running wild does not allow for picture time. It was a fun morning! :)

*You will notice Rylee wearing the same outfit in ever pic. She has started stripping off all her clothes and diaper no matter where we are. The onesie is the only thing she will keep on. So the ice cream onesie dress it will be. :)

Mr. Greg and I had a date night Friday! Thanks to Mrs. Sarah! We relived our childhood and saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles followed by a delicious dinner at The Olive Garden.  I also had a Lori Dodson plate party on Sunday. So fun! Thank you so much Big Man for getting the yard in shape and for helping out with the kids. Love you very much and all you do for me. :)

Homestead Farms :)

Not much going on this past week. Rylee got some sort of virus last Friday. I thought she was better Wednesday and took them to the zoo! Had a great time but as soon as we got home the virus reminded me he hadn't left just yet. Everyone feeling better now! We went to Homestead Farms Saturday for our friend Lucas's 2nd Birthday! Lots of Fun!

I have been known to plan ahead but this is ridiculous! We booked our 1st BIG Family Trip!! Disney Cruise! They only depart out of Galveston Nov/Dec 2015 and the 4 day cruise (I think a 7 day's is a bit long of a vaca with little ones) departs Christmas Eve! We are so excited! Can you tell? And yes I change the day everyday. When  Rory saw this magnet it finally hit her..."What in the world? I'm so excited!! I can't believe it! Will I see Minnie, Jake, Mickey?" The anticipation leading up to the trip is the best part....I think.:)

This trip means so much to us because we have never been able to take a BIG TRIP. We were so blessed that Greg was offered a new job in June. After many yrs of looking for the right job for our family, we hit the jackpot...we did not have to move and most importantly we did not have to leave our Church Home. Which is SUCHHH a wonderful part of our lives and Rory and Rylee's. I would just like to give a plug to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class we took at church in the Spring. IT WAS AMAZING! And honestly changed our lives. We started spending our money God's way and blessings just started falling into our lap including this new job! We had been wanting to take the class for a long time, but just never took the step. Then after I saw Rory's school director, Ann's, video testimony I signed us up. I actually saw her in the hall at church the other day and immediately began crying talking about how her video made me take the step to sign up and how it had changed our lives. GOD IS GOOD! We never doubted the plan he had for us during the last couple years of job uncertainty (There were some rough days, however.lol)  and now that we see the end we know he had a plan the whole time! :)

Rylee was a tad unsure of the goats..."Protect me Daddy!"

more comfortable around the baby goats... :)

Grayson!!!

Fun with Friends!! :)

Get it Girl! :)

So glad with Greg's new job he can make it to all these Saturday parties with me! Makes it much more enjoyable. :)

Come here Chicky Chicky!
Happy Birthday, Lucas!! :)
