Around July 4th we took the girls to see "How to Train a Dragon 2" at the Drive- In! So much fun! Popcorn, Snow cones, Live Band with Dancing, Playground...and that's before the show even starts. Then half way through the show they stopped it so we could enjoy a firework show! :) Great night!

Ice Skating with THE BIG MAN :)

I love Groupon! I can always find exciting, new, and fun things for the family to try! So one Saturday I mentioned to Greg we were going Ice Skating. Well actually HE and Rory were going ice skating! He is always up for fun things like that...which is why I love him so and his girls have given him the nickname "Big Man" if you didn't already know...because HE IS THE MAN! Anyway...it was such a fun morning! I personally have never laughed so hard. It took them 30 minutes to do one lap around the rice rink. Neither one were much of a skater...but it sure made for great entertainment for me. 

*side note: Greg will read this and ask why I didn't add this disclaimer. He was given ice skates instead of hockey skates....which was why he was not on his ice skating "A" game. :) 

BBQ on TEN OAKS DRIVE

Now for the May/June Celebration's on the Boyd side! We all got together for a BBQ at PawPaw and Carlene's house! :) Love all these birthday celebrations! :)

Babysitting Swap with the Sparks Family :)

Last October at Rory's friend, Isabella's, birthday party I met a mommy named Sara! She had two boys the same age as Rory and Rylee. We didn't get to chat much at the party, but a couple weeks later Isabella's mommy connected with me through Facebook and gave me her number. It seems like only yesterday.....

Well she has become one of my dear friends! We decided to do a babysitting date swap! Greg and I had wonderful Miss Sarah (another one) from church who we love, but I'm too cheap to book her often. With this wonderful babysitting swap...Sara watches the girls one night a month and I watch her boys one night a month! It is wonderful and FREE!!!! :) I love her dearly and I know that my girls are safely in her care! And she is the BEST because she knows all the shenanigans 4 and 2 year olds can pull! I am so blessed that we have met each other! :)
