Pregnant 19 weeks

It's a Girl----introducing Rory Grace Hammerlun

So here goes my first blog entry.....We are very excited to start our family with the additon of Miss Rory Grace. We had the most important sonogram on Friday afternoon to determine if we were having a baby boy or girl. Greg picked me up from work and we went straight to Starbucks to get a Frappacino. Delicious. Don't worry this was my first starbucks drink since June. Some mom's at school told me to drink something with caffeine before the appointment so the baby would spread those legs and we could get a peak. (she however was sleeping) But a few minutes into the sonogram the technician typed..."Hi Mom and Dad....I'm your Daughter!" I continued to ask over and over," Are you sure? Are you sure?" She replied with the same answer.."100%" YEAH! We are having a girl!!! Some of the things Greg responded with were..."Boy I'm in trouble." "Another Boyd Girl." " I need another gun." Too Funny! Dr. Vaughan also told us that my cysts are shrinking so that is good sign.

After the doctors appointment we went and registered at Babies R Us and then to Mimi Maternity to pick up some maternity clothes. :) Then we had a dinner at Carraba's. Came home and watched Ghost Whisperer with our other babies. (Toby and Layla) It was truly a wonderful day and we feel so happy and blessed!

On Saturday we drove to college station for the A&M v. Alabama Birmingham game. We enjoyed the game in a nice air conditioned suite thanks to our friends Kenny and Lindsey. We drove back this morning and had lunch with Memme and Papa at On the Border. It was a wonderful weekend!
