A Wonderful Relaxing Weekend....

yes I made greg stop in the middle of mall traffic to take a picture with the big camera....he is such a trooper!!! Rory loves to shop!!!
Sitting in the high chair at BJ's :)

:) and yes i busted out the camera at BJ's too..."put it away" is a phrase I here quite often from gregory! lol.

you cant tell from the picture but we were blowing bubbles in the front yard. She wasnt too interested and was more obsessed with the grass ! The bubbles entertained her mama though!

Big girl bathtub!!! :)

This weekend was absolutely wonderful!!! It was filled with some much needed family time!!! Friday night Greg and I ordered Pei Wei and after Miss Rory went to sleep we watched Date Night! It was very cute and i loved it!! On Saturday we hit Northeast Mall bright and early and went to every baby store....Nordstroms kids, Gap Kids, Gymboree, and Crazy 8's. Rory has picture day and we were going to one store looking, going to another store looking, back to the other store....you get the picture. I was trying to find the perfect picture day outfit and Greg was such a trooper. "hello again." was what we heard by a couple sales clerks. We did find the perfect outfit and she looks absolutely adorable. We went to BJ's for lunch and enjoyed Rory finally able to sit "comfortably" in a high chair! Then we headed back home to watch football for the rest of the afternoon and evening....

A little side note: We have been attending Northwood Church for the last couple years but just recently made the step to become members. We are taking a 6 week "T-life (Transformation)" class that are an hour before each Worship service on Sunday. It has been a wonderful experience thus fur! Back to Rory though....we always take Rory with us to the worship service and go to the cry room. She went to the nursery the first time on Sunday...when we dropped her off she was happy however she was looking at us like "where are Ms. Flori and Ms. Kristi" (her teachers at Primrose) We think she behaved herself but when we picked her up she had this one little tear on her cheek. It was precious and also a sign she may of had a couple crying fits!! Those poor teenage girls..ha ha. After church...Greg took Rory home while I met my friend Jamie and Lindy for an Italian lunch. It was great having a girls lunch! I haven't had one in a while! Thank you honey! The rest of Sunday was devoted to Football :) It was a perfect weekend!

We drove down Saturday to break in Lindsey and Aarons new house in Hutto!!! It is adorable!! We had a wonderful time and Rory enjoyed being ohhh and aahhhed over all day by relatives and friends. (Mommy and Daddy enjoyed that too!) It was a great day trip! We also got to hang out with my dad a little on Sunday. With a bit of sad news....my brothers dog dottie passed away this weekend at 13 years old. She has been a constant companion and best friend to my brother since he was 11. Amanda and I still remember driving to the airport with my dad to pick her up when we were 14! She was a great dog and very loving. We will miss Dotsfield...xoxo. She had her last hunt last weekend and past away and was buried at the hunting lease in South Texas where she spent her glory days. :)

Auntie Reagan and Cousin Coop come to visit!!!

We had a great weekend! Cousin Coop and Auntie Reagan came to visit! On Friday we ordered pizza and relaxed! Saturday we went shopping, Central Market for lunch, to the park, grilled
k-bobs, and watched football! It was such a great weekend! I love family weekends. :)
Rory and I on the patio! :)
We are easily entertained! little lucita :)

Wreckem Tech! And she loves when I sing the "Fight Raiders Fight" song! :)

Rory loves Cooper! She just sat and stared at him. It was so cute!

We started Rory on fruits this week. She loves applesauce, but is not too fond of Pears! Being the evil parents we are we kept giving her spoonfuls because we loved her facial expressions. :)

Cooper fulfilled one of my dreams on Saturday of being a professional photographer. I took him to the park and he was my model! I took so many pictures and he loved to pose. It was so much fun! :)

so cute!

Gigem! Just before she spit up sweet potatoes all over him.

Popcicles and "discussing" why cartoons are better then football! Sorry coop you won't win that argument! :)

Rory loves her auntie and by Sunday she would cry when Reagan wasn't laying next to her entertaining her! :)

Last Weekend.....Maddie and Rory :)

Last weekend Rory and I (Greg had to work) headed over to Gigi's and Papa J's for lunch and swimming. Rory is still very unsure of the pool she doesn't cry but she has a serious look on her face and hasn't quite made up her mind yet. She loves the bath, but is a little overwhelmed with the pool. She did warm up to it after a while and of course was kicking her legs like a little froggy! It was very cute! On Sunday, Greg, Rory, and I went to church. At our church they are doing a series on parenting. Last weeks lesson was on fathers and how to be a gentle father/man and a present father. Rory is so blessed to have such a gentle father. He stays cool and calm under almost every situation. He is a patient man (unless Rory spits up sweet potatoes on his brand new white Adidas A&M shirt...just kiddding honey) who brings me down and makes me laugh at myself when I get all worked up. He is a wonderful husband and father and we love him dearly! After church Maddie and Amanda came over for a play date! :) It was a good weekend! :)
