Aunt Vanna and Rory

This weekend was super busy!!! I took Friday off because my Mom and Aunt Vanna came for a visit. Aunt Vanna is from Alabama and comes to visit for a week during the summer...of course she had to make a trip to Fort Worth to see her Great Niece. :) We had a great time we went for lunch at BJ's Brewhouse and then did some shopping at Northeast Mall...we had to go to Rory's favorite store Nordstrom's of course. Rory did so good....she loves to shop! Greg played golf that day with Papa J but took care of Rory Friday night so us girls could go to On the Border for margartitas. :) We ended the night by watching It's Complicated! I love this movie! On Saturday we all went to lunch at Jason's Deli and then Greg, Rory, and I went to Madison's 1st Birthday Pool party! Rory is too young to get in the pool so we enjoyed visiting with all the other guests who opted to stay in the air conditioned house. It was a great party and we had so much fun. Mom and Vanna decided to stay another night so we ordered pizza and watched TV. :) We had so much fun and I always laugh so hard when I am around Aunt Vanna and Mom together! We had a great time!

Rory went to her first church service this morning....it was great! We sat in the cry room...they have lots of rockers and a big tv so we could watch the sermon. They also have a diaper changing table and a nursing station...Everything you could need. Rory really enjoyed the singing. Everytime I go to church I always tear up.....we are just so blessed and God has given me a wonderful husband and a healthy baby girl. I am forever thankful to him. :)

After church we went out to see Great Grandpa Dick and Great Grandma Connie for lunch. It was delicous as always! However, Rory was not in her best mood. She really can tell who Greg and I are and is a little apprehensive if someone is holding her and she can't see us. We also noticed at Madison's party that if someone is holding her....she will be really good for a few minutes and then start looking around for us and then begin crying until she is in her mommy or daddy's arms again.

She loves to be talked to and gives the biggest grin....but as my dad says she goes from 0 to mad in 15 seconds. So true...she will be the happiest baby and giving the biggest smiles and then screaming her head off. Moody like her mama!
