I think I started a tradition...Last year I went to The Whitley Place (Alzheimer's Unit) to Christmas Carol with MOPS...it was such a blessing and really reminds you of the true meaning of CHRISTmas.  This year I brought Rory along...she loves Christmas Carols and enjoyed listening to all of us singing. (She woke up from her nap at 5:30pm and we were there at 6pm...so she was not in a "festive" mood..but still we had so much fun) One of the ladies came up to her and said "GIMME SOME SUGARS!" of to which she "politely" said "No!" lol. We passed out candy canes and the kids shook "jingle bells" and ran around the residents like kids on crazy sugar highs! The residents loved it!! Can't wait for next year!!
