2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance at Church

This Saturday, Rory and Greg attended the Daddy Daughter Dance at our Church. This is the second year they have gone and Rory had a blast! Not going to lie...I was a little jealous of her. Greg looked so handsome I wanted to go to the dance with him. :) She danced the night away and LOVED LOVED her blue dress. She had a massive meltdown before bed when she had to take of the dress and sparkly shoes..hey at least we got her out of her "blue shirt." She kept saying.."but I want to be pretty, mama!" of course..I said "you are pretty inside and out without your blue dress on." Typical Mommy answer! Love my husband.. who treats our girls like the ladies they are and will show them  what to expect from future gentleman in the future. :) PS. Rory just woke up and the first thing she said was "I want to wear my blue princess dress!" I think the blue shirt may of been replaced. :)

 

While Daddy and Rory were at the dance...Rylee enjoyed chewing on her toes! :)

Let's Pretend Tea Parties in Grapevine

I recently purchased a GROUPON (love Groupon!) for a mother/daughter tea party date for four. So this afternoon we made it a date with Maddie and Amanda! IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER! The girls loved it...and it was Rory's first time to have her nails painted! :)

They were so cute at the tea party...using their please, thank yous, and your welcomes like the sweet little girls they are! (with a couple of "MINE!"s thrown in there)

Tea partied out! I sent this picture to Greg of to which he wrote back "Is that makeup?" It was immediately wiped off (per daddy's request) as soon as we got home. He isn't ready for all that! (and frankly neither am I)  :)

While Rylee was napping...I was working on my EVITES for a plate party I am hosting when I look to my right and this is the sight I see...Rory with Rylee's pacifier in her mouth, sitting in Rylee's swing, and looking at coupons! I may of left her in there for 5 minutes just for some peace and quiet...

Aww...Sisterly Love! Rory loves to climb in Rylee's crib to cuddle! Love the above picture...after this shot was taken Rory said, "Rylee don't poke me in the eye...that hurts!" I think Rory finds it hard to understand why she gets in trouble when she pokes Rylee in the eye (among other things) and Rylee doesn't get in trouble when she does the same. ha ha!

While I have Spring Break all yr long...Rory was out of school this week and the wonderful teachers in my life were off so we had Mimi and JJ come over to play! :) This week we spent lots of time at the park, had a great visit from Mimi, fun day with JJ, and a playdate with Lauren! It was a great beautiful week in Fort Worth! :) Hope everyone had a great Spring Break! :)

We went to Georgetown last weekend for Addison's Birthday Party! It was sooo cute! Linds did a great job decorating...so adorable! Rory and Rylee had so much fun! Rory loves birthday parties. We stayed with Nana and Papa J. And had a visit to Auntie Reagan's and PawPaw's while we were there! We love family time! :)

Wisdom Teeth

This sweet little angel brings so much JOY to our lives! I could look at this smile  24/7! :)

Here is the note I wrote to Greg a couple of hours after I got home and couldn't talk and was still "out of it"  and hardly knew where I was it says..."When can I have water? and look at my medicine when can I take pain pill?."

My sisters wanted a picture...I sent this to them of to which Reagan replied..."DORK! You look like the girl from sixteen candles with the neck brace!"


I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday! Greg took Thursday and Friday off to take care of me AND the girls! HE DID SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB! I was feeling alright on Friday so he took Rory to the Jump Place and up to the golf course. A BIG BIG THANK YOU TO NANA! Who came up to Fort Worth on such short notice to take me to my appt so Greg did not have to wait in the waiting room for a couple hrs with both girls. She even watched the girl's Wednesday night so Greg and I could go to dinner. :) THANK YOU THANK YOU TO MY SWEET HUBBY and NANA V! Love y'all! Feeling good today! :)
